This is the first volume of meditations on gospel passages by the Fathers of the Church and other ecclesiatical writers. This volume is intended to be used with the three year cycle of gospel passages for the Sundays from Advent to Pentecost, and for the solemnities of the Lord from Christmas to the Sacred Heart. A second volume is planned for the Sundays of Ordinary Time, and this will be followed by another for solemities and feasts.
