Description

For groups who come together to read and reflect on the scriptures in a prayerful way, also helpful for personal prayer and for formal prayer periods like the Holy Hour. Each of the twenty prayer-sessions starts with a human experience, from “Joining a group” to “Times of stress” to “With all who suffer”, etc. An introductory prayer, that puts words on the experience and the feelings it arouses, is followed by a gospel reading. A short period for personal reflection and sharing on the reading is then followed by Fr O’Flynn’s meditation on it. This meditation leads into prayer and the meeting ends with a final reflection.
