The pictures in this book are intended for preschool children. Their purpose is to help children to approach the world of faith in their own way. This in turn offers a special opportunity to parents: to enter with their children into the world of faith and to talk with them about it. The book should be a special help to small children when they go to mass. Even if they do not yet understand what is going on there, the pictures will aid them in following the course of the celebration. Scriptural references for the pictures relating to the Bible are located at the end of the book. The editors hope that their book will aid children and their parents to find joy together as they begin to explore with one another the wonderful mysteries of faith.
