Stations of the Cross prayer booklet

Stations of the Cross or the Way of the Cross refers to a series of images depicting Jesus Christ on the day of his crucifixion and accompanying prayers. The stations grew out of imitations of Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem which is the actual path Jesus walked to Mount Calvary. The object of the stations is to help the Christian faithful to make a spiritual pilgrimage through contemplation of the Passion of Christ.

Steps of Pain, Steps of Hope

The stations of the Cross help us to follow Jesus through his passion, death and resurrection. In this series of fresh meditations, Monsignor Matthew Dickens helps Christians to retrace Jesus' "steps of pain and steps of hope", encouraging them on the journey through life.
