The Prayer of the Church - Vintage Book

From the introduction: The Prayer of the Church as this interim version of the Roman Breviary is called, is intended for use in those countries where it has been approved for use by the Episcopal Conference. It is presented as an alternative to the present Roman Breviary until such time as a definitive translation of the editio typica is ready and approved for use by the English-speaking hierarchies, and confirmed by the Holy See. This is an intetrim edition, because at the time of writing the the preparation of the Latin editio typica is not complete. The interim edition, however, is based on the revision and material prepared by the Congregation for the Divine Woship for the new Roman Breviary, and released to those hierarchies that have requested its use.
