From time to time, in BBC Televisions's SUnday evening programme "Meeting Point", there have been presented narratives of personal Christian experience under the title "This is my story". Many well-known people have been among those who have taken part, such as Hugh Redwood, Arthur Calder-Marshall, Father Potter of Peckham, Geoffrey Bull and the Bishops of Coventry and Birmingham. Others, such as a Japanese woman who was in Hiroshima when the bomb fell, were pesuaded to come out of their private lives for a while to tell their stories in this interesting programme. Some of these stories, in many cases expanded into fuller detail, have now been gathered together by William Purcell.
