Charlo Camilleri O'Carm graduated in philosophy and history of art in 1997 from the University of Malta. In 2000 he graduated in Sacred Theology and in 2002 he obtained the Licentiate in Pastoral Theology with the dissertation Carmel: A spirituality of Beauty. In 2004 at the Pontificial Gregorian University, in Rome he obtained a Diploma from the Interdiscliplinary Course for Formators and in 2007 he obtained his doctorate in spirituality theology with the presentation of the thesis: Union with God as Transformation in Beauty.
