Fernando Millan Romeral was elected prior general of the Carmelite Order in 2007. He studied in Spain – his native country – Rome and Ireland. He is a graduate in philosophy with a post-graduate qualification in theology and a doctorate in Dogmatic Theology. He taught theology at the Comillas Pontifical Universary of Madrid.
