Description
The central character in this story and the other Bible stories in this series is Gloria, a fire cloud who represents the glory of God. Gloria portrays the mystery, warmth, concern and action of God in a simple but rich symbol drawn from the Scriptures. The aim of this series is to help children enter the wonderful story world of the Bible, to respond with excitement, and to meet God through Gloria, a colourful expression of God’s presence.
In The Ghost of Galilee, Jesus’ friends are in a boat on the Sea of Galilee. Suddenly a wild wind blows, and they think their boat will sink. Then Gloria comes, and they see Jesus on the waves.
This story will appeal to a wide age range, but is particularly suitable for children 3 -7.
